Residents of Mugae Village along the border of Meru and Isiolo Counties have decried the poor state of insecurity in the area, following increased cases of cattle rustling that often result in loss of lives. The residents during the burial ceremony of a National police reservist who was shot dead on Sunday by assailants lamented frequent attacks in the area. They called on the government to intervene and do thorough investigations into the rising cases of insecurity in the region and those culpable be brought to book.
