The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC are in the process of hiring auctioneers to go after Politicians, litigants and other firms for failing to pay the commission what they are owed inform of outstanding court awards amounting to 400 million shillings. Appearing before the Public Accounts Committee, IEBC CEO Hussein Marjan says persons who lost their cases in election disputes against the commission and were directed by the courts to bear their own cost have gone as far as hiring lawyers to evade paying monies owed to the electoral body.
