Junior police officers entering service will now earn 25,645 shillings from 21645 shilling in a new salary structure announced by the National Police Service Commission. In the adjusted salaries the chairperson of CommissionEluid Kinuthi said Senior Assistant Inspector General at entry rank will earn 221,915 shillings up from 200,889 shillings. The commission has also assured police officers deployed to the troubled Caribbean nation of Haiti of its commitment to improving their working conditions.
