Acting Inspector General of police Gilbert Masengeli has finally caved into Justice Lawrence Mugambi's directive and was willing to appear in court on Thursday (today) to redeem himself. His request was however declined as Judge Chacha Mwita directed that he appear before Judge Lawrence Mugambi since he was unavailable today. These civil society groups continue to push a citizen's arrest of Masengeli as well as the prosecution of officers on record violating the law.
