Narok County Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu has been ranked best best-performing governor with a 78.6 % approval rating in the latest polls by Politrack. The study dubbed ‘First Time Governors Popularity Rating 2024’ covered 28 counties and sampled 5,800 respondents. Governors were rated on performance satisfaction, proportion of their own source revenue and compliance with county planning as per the County Government`s Act among others.Ntutu is followed closely by Kakamega`s Fernandes Barasa with a 75.4 % approval rating and Uasin Gishu`s Dr Jonathan Bii at 72.1 %. Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika got the least approval rating at 37.3%.
