Tharaka elders call for political truce between Kindiki and Gachagua

Elders drawn from Tharaka Nithi region have shunned intolerance among political leaders themselves and instead work harmoniously to deliver on their promises Speaking at the Kibuka Shrine, the elders under the umbrella of alternative learning transformation, called on leaders to tone down the political temperatures. The elders also want efforts made to conserve cultural practices, that continue to be eroded with time.
