Striking lecturers have accused the police of employing brutal force to try and disrupt their strike which they claim is legitimate. Through theUniversity Academic Staff Union and the Kenya University Staff Union, the dons claim it was unfortunate that 20 university workers were arrested, and several others injured while legitimately trying to present their petition to relevant authorities as dictated by the constitution.
