Tana River Governor Dhadho Godhana, Galole MP Hiribae Said Buya and a host of other leaders who had been arrested in the ongoing probe on inter-clan clashes within the county have been released. The leaders were released after questioning by dci detectives who sought answers on the cause of the deadly clashes that have led to the killing of 18 people in less than two weeks. The leaders have condemned the ongoing violence calling for a peaceful coexistence among the warring clans, even as the county security committee plans to question more individuals from Monday.
