The National Cohesion and Integration Commission has cautioned that if not contained the current political temperatures in the country resulting from the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua could spill into ethnic tensions.Speaking during a meeting with editors on the role of media in intergenerational conversations framework, NCIC chairman Samuel Kobia asked the senate to treat the impeachment trial of DP Gachagua with fairness and free of political bias as it sits on Wednesday and Thursday on the matter.
