Ndovu watano wamehamishwa kutoka hifadhi ya wanyama pori ya Mwea iliyoko katika kaunti ya Embu hadi mbuga ya wanyama pori ya Aberdare katika kaunti ya Nyeri. Hifadhi hiyo ya Mwea inaweza kusitiri ndovu 50 pekee lakini idadi yao imeongezeka huku wengine wakianza kuvamia mashamba na kusababisha mtafaruku miongoni mwa jamii. Waziri wa utalii Rebecca Miano na mkurugenzi mkuu wa shirika la KWS Dr Erastus Kanga walisema mbuga ya Aberdare ina mazingira mazuri na nyasi ya kutosha kwa ndovu hao.
