Housing Levy: Supreme Court overturned Court of Appeal decision

The Supreme Court has today overturned the decision by the Court of Appeal to declare the Finance Act 2023 unconstitutional. In a decision considered a big win for the government and a blow to taxpayers, the seven judge bench dismissed the appeal on grounds that there is no law governing the public participation.
