    Karen Kimani, a 12-year-old environmental activist who began her conservation efforts at age five, has been allocated 50 acres of forest land in Ngong, Kajiado County by the Kenya Forest Service. Through her Karen Forte Environmental Conservation Foundation, she will lead tree planting efforts to support Kenya's goal of 15 billion trees by 2030. Speaking during the launch of a tree nursery, Karen urged society, especially children, to actively take part in protecting the environment.
