The U. S Kids Golf Nairobi local tour entered the second round with competition taking the 146 juniors to the Windsor Golf Club in Nairobi. The juniors aged 5-18 competed in several categories for both boys and girls. Krish Shah starred in the in the boys’15-18 year-old category after scoring 77 points, ten more than Hansil Tank who scored 88 points. Ronan Patel was the winner in the 13-14-year-olds with 81 points. Cherise Wachira topped the 15-year-olds category, with 99 points while Audrey Gachora was the best among the 13-14-year-olds with 78 points. Cherono Kipkorir scored 85 points to top the 11-12-year-olds category, while Leticia Mwangale and Kanana Muthomi emerged winners among the eight and nine-year-olds girls’ categories. The tournament is aimed at encouraging more juniors to play golf.
