Ksh62 Billion Nairobi Expressway in jeopardy as a section of workers protest delayed salaries

Taxpayers are likely to sink billions of shillings into repayment of debts for uncompleted projects undertaken by the government, with a number of the multi-billion projects running the risk of stalling in the wake of struggles by the national treasury to secure funding for their completion. The recent one being the Nairobi expressway, that has seen a section of its workers affiliated to delta limited, down their tools due to delayed payments by the sub-contractors.
