    Even as the COVID-19 numbers continue to soar hit 1,018 in the last 24 hours, from yesterday's report, the situation is bound to get worse after medics announced that they would not do any more tests from midnight once they down their tools. This follows the expiration of a seven-day notice issued by health unions to the Ministry of Health, demanding their overdue promotions further claiming that many of their qualified counterparts had been downgraded, grievances they say have fallen on deaf ears.
