Activist Tony Gachoka and a group of Lawyers under the umbrella of Mount Kenya Jurists have challenged the proposed government plan to lease Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Indian conglomerate Adani Group for 30 years.In the petition, they argue the whole process was opaque and tainted with illegalities and that the deal violated principles of good governance.
