3 more people killed during Saba Saba protests buried

Calls for justice dominated the funeral services of three victims of Saba Saba protests who were shot dead by police in Nairobi, Naivasha and Mbeere south. The late Harrison Mwangi, Anthony Kariuki and James Muriithi Kamoni were laid to rest in emotional send offs in Nyandarua, Nakuru and Kirinyaga with family, friends and leaders calling for an end to police brutality. The shattered families have appealed to young people to stop the demonstrations and instead focus their energy on registering as voters to have a voice during the 2027 general election.
