More than 300 women in Mosop, Nandi county who quit alcoholism have benefitted from donating dairy cows by the Hope for Change Organization. According to Mary Tarkok Rono who is in charge of the organization, there is a need for the victims of alcoholism to be given support and adequate training to be able to support themselves in life. The women called on other organizations to collaborate with the national and county Governments to mobilize those affected and the underprivileged and raise their awareness of the negative effects of alcoholism.
