More than forty members of parliament from the Mount Kenya region have broken ranks with deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and declared their support for interior cabinet secretary professor Kithure Kindiki. The MPs attributed the move to Gachagua's one-man political show, which risks starving the region of the much needed development projects.
