5 more suspects arraigned in connection with Kasipul MP's murder

The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Law Courts will this Friday 9th May, 2025 rule on whether it has Jurisdiction to hear a Miscellaneous Application by five suspects arrested in connection with the death of Kasipul Member of Parliament Charles Ong’ondo Were. This after defense lawyers challenged the court's proximity and jurisdiction to hear the matter as presented by the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution. The move comes even as the National Police Service ballistic reports have linked a pistol recovered from a suspect to the bullets that killed the late legislator.
