5-year-old attacked and killed by a hyena laid to rest

A five-year-old boy killed by a hyena, has been laid to rest at his parent’s home in Nyacaba village, Juja, Kiambu County.Prince Njoroge Gitau was buried a week after residents of Flat Nyacaba village in Juja held demonstrations, barricading Thika road for two hours to protest the tragedy. The residents are calling on the Kenya Wildlife Service to address human-wildlife conflict in the area .
