7 arrested, 13 trucks seized in Mombasa counterfeit cooking oil bust

Kenyans might have, for the last three months, been consuming cooking oil unfit for human consumption. Probe into a consignment of edible oil seized in Mombasa established that thousands of substandard edible oils had been diverted into the local market across the country. Seven suspects believed to have been smuggling the oil into the yard have been arrested, a crucial documents have been recovered during a search at the yard.
