Eight of nine DCI officers from the disbanded special services unit will be detained for 21 days pending investigations. Kahawa Law Court Chief Magistrate Diana Mochache admitted one of the officers to bail, stating that he sufficiently proved to the court that he was not in Nairobi on the date two Indians and a Kenyan taxi driver disappeared. The three disappearances are at the heart of the case against the officers. As Hassan Mugambi Reports, defence counsels in the case have moved to the high court seeking a review of Thursday’s ruling.
