African countries have been asked to welcome foreign election observers to help in promoting integrity of elections.
Election experts and observers from 54 African countries who attended a four-day training of the ‘second specialized training for AU electoral observers’ have outlined the importance of integrity during elections.

The event was organised by the Kingdom of Morocco and the African Union (AU). 61 election observers and experts attended the second specialized training for AU electoral observers at the Kingdom of Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation in Rabat.
