A section of Retirees are decrying the high rate of inflation that currently stands at 7.8%, arguing it has resulted in devaluation of their savings . They now want pension managers to factor inflation in their monthly payments in light of the high cost of living. Absa Kenya Pension Association further argues that poor management of pension schemes if not addressed would erode savings under the schemes.
