Activists under the alliance for science have welcomed the Nairobi Declaration reached after the weeklong Africa Climate Summit. They groups that held a weeklong meeting parallel to the Africa Climate Summit said they were hopeful that the declaration will help African countries realise the intended outcome in the upcoming cop 28 they however continued to raise questions on the issue of inclusion and lack of gender and youth perspectives at the concluded climate summit.
