The government has challenged African countries to make bold decisions and mobilize their own capital resources to drive industrialization and reduce dependence on external financing. Speaking during the opening of the NextFrontier Africa 2025 summit hosted by the Kenya Development Corporation, Principal Secretary for Industrialization James Mukhwana said time had come for the continent to chart its own development path by investing in homegrown solutions and strategic sectors. The three-day high-level forum aims to unlock new investment opportunities across six key sectors including manufacturing, health and agriculture.
