For the first time in its 35 years history as the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, the national broadcaster will have a female at the helm. Agnes Kalekye Nguna was appointed managing director/chief executive officer on Friday for a three-year term. The immediate former Chief Operations Officer at the Star Publications becomes the 13th Managing Director at Broadcasting House which boasts 2 television stations, 4 public service radio stations and 11 public-commercial radio stations.
