Anglican Archbishop Ole Sapit says calm in the country good for talks

The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya, Jackson Ole Sapit, has once again reiterated his concerns over hardline stances being taken by the political class and called on the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio coalitions to adopt more moderate positions as they begin their talks. In addition to calling for moderation and an end to rallies, Archbishop Sapit also called on President Ruto and opposition leader Raila, to take advantage of the current calm in the country to resolve the contentious issues. The archbishop made the remarks during the consecration ceremony of Assistant Bishop James Kiranga Kamura at ACK St. Andrew's Church in Thika.
