Archbishop Anyolo calls for lasting peace in Mwingi border conflict

Nairobi Archdiocese Archbishop Philip Anyolo has called for a lasting solution to the escalating conflict in Mwingi to ensure no more lives are lost at the Tseikuru border. Speaking in Wote, Makueni County, Anyolo warned against the politicisation of the conflict that just six days ago claimed the lives of eight people, leaving residents living along the Kitui–Garissa border in fear.
