As the international athletics calendar gathers momentum, attention now turns to two key continental and global competitions
The World Athletics Relays, scheduled for 2nd and 3rd May 2026 in Gaborone, Botswana, and the Africa Senior Athletics Championships, set to take place from 12th to 17th May 2026 in Accra, Ghana. In Kenya’s efforts to assemble strong and competitive teams for both championships, Athletics Kenya will conduct combined national trials from 9th to 11th April 2026 at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi.
