Azimio leader Raila Odinga has come to the defence of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former first lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta over tax evasion accusations. Odinga says the role of collecting tax from members of the public lies with the Kenya revenue authority and that the authority should be allowed to work independently without interference from the executive. The Azimio leader who addressed a rally at Kamukunji Grounds, says will block any attempts to form a new electoral commission without Azimio's input.
