Leaders from Baringo County have lauded the government for the security operation in the region, which they say has brought peace within the banditry-prone region. Speaking during the burial of Tiaty Constituency fund chairman Augustine Mwetich, famously known as 'blue' in Chemolingot, the leaders said the county has witnessed relative calm for the past few months, allowing residents to go about their activities with ease. The leaders from the warring communities who attended the event, shook hands as a sign of peace, and called on their communities to embrace peace.
