Boda boda riders among first responders at Gilgil school fire

A group of boda boda operators stationed near Utumishi Girls’ Academy was among the first responders at the horrific scene of the fire incident. Other rescuers included students, teachers, and specialized emergency response units such as the Kenya Red Cross, the National Police Service, and the Kenya Defence Forces from the nearby Gilgil Barracks.
