A sombre mood has engulfed residents of Ngomongo village in Kutus, Kirinyaga county, after the lifeless body of a middle-aged woman was found dumped naked in the Mwea rice fields. The body of the 39-year-old woman, identified as Elizabeth Wawira, a mother of one, was discovered by a passerby who immediately raised the alarm at a nearby shopping centre.
