The family of mask vendor Boniface Kariuki who was shot during Tuesday’s protest is now complaining of being abandoned by the government despite their kin being in critical condition at Kenyatta National Hospital. Five days after his admission in the intensive care unit the family says investigative agencies are yet to reach out to record statements or check on the progress of the victim despite his injuries being inflicted by a policer officer. In an update at the hospital, the family says Kariuki is paralyzed on left-side after he was shot in the head at close range. Gatete Njoroge reports on a family's agony even as kariuki's father is conned 200,000 shillings
