Bungoma National Polytechnic students take to the streets

Students from Bungoma National Polytechnic in Bungoma took to the streets to condemn the sacking of the Deputy Principal. The students are faulting the Institution’s Principal for allegedly not providing good leadership.They further accused her of misappropriation of funds among other issues. The demos led to the disruption of business along the Kanduyi - Bungoma highway which affected the transport sector. Police had a difficult time trying to quell the situation. Efforts to reach the Principal were futile after her phone went unanswered.
