Young girls from pastoralist communities continue to bear the brunt of female genital mutilation, child marriages and the attendant early pregnancies. Some of the girls get the luck to be rescued from such predicaments and have a second chance at life, one such centre that rescues girls in Kajiado is Hope Beyond foundation, where Citizen Tv's Brenda Wanga met two girls recovering from early marriages and pregnancies. And as she now reports, one of the girls took drastic and near fatal measures to get out of early motherhood.
