The Commission on Administrative Justice is calling for the strengthening of the legal framework to ensure that its decisions and recommendations are binding to curb impunity in the public sector. This is after the commission cited a culture of secrecy, unresponsiveness and impunity in the public sector. In a report dubbed the status of administrative justice and access to information 2012-2023, delay of services by a public institution accounted for the highest form of maladministration at 22.6% while discourtesy was the least at 2%.
