Stakeholders in the fight against obstetric fistula have called for establishment of special units dedicated to treatment of fistula in public hospitals. The Let's End Fistula Initiative further decried stigma associated with the condition saying it bars patients from seeking treatment. Through funding of donors, the organisation enables women suffering from obstetric fistula to undergo corrective surgery for free.
