Hundreds of cancer patients at the Kenyatta National Hospital have been left stranded after the facility’s only remaining radiotherapy machine broke down nearly two weeks ago. Patients who spoke to Citizen TV say they received calls from the hospital on Tuesday, instructing them to report for their scheduled sessions on Wednesday. But upon arrival, they were met with disappointment; the machine was still out of service. This marks the second consecutive week patients have missed life-saving treatment.
