Cardiff FC from Lakeview ward were crowned champions of the Naivasha Junior Football Tournament held on Saturday at Merlin Grounds in Naivasha Sub-County, Nakuru County, after defeating Gitwamba’s Eleven Lions 3-1 in the final. At the same time Mizizi FC from Hell’s Gate ward secured third place after a 2-0 win over fc Nantes from Viwandani ward in the third-place playoff. The tournament is part of an initiative to nurture young football talent from an early age.
