Presented before the High Court in Kibera, the footage tracks the movements of police officers and two unidentified men who, according to court testimony, entered and later exited the cell block where Ojwang was being held. Opening the murder trial, the Director of Public Prosecutions told the court that former Central Police Station OCS Samson Talaam and his co-accused assaulted Ojwang before attempting to cover up the crime. The court also heard testimony from a protected witness and a CCTV technician on how crucial surveillance footage was allegedly deleted. Our reporter, Ode Francis, followed the proceedings.
