Tickets for the opening two matches of the Africa Nations Championships CHAN went on sale on Thursday morning in all three categories. The VVIP and the vip tickets, going for 1000 and 500 shillings, were snapped up within hours of going on sale online. Appearing before the parliament departmental committee on sports and culture, the local organizing committee chairman, Nicholas Musonye, said the stadium gates will be opened early and there will be barriers one kilometre away from the match venues to control the spectators, especially when the home teams are in action.
