Church to Ruto: Back graft claims with action, not committees

Tonight, we begin the bulletin from the ongoing debate on graft, where the church is now calling on President William Ruto to provide evidence over his claims of graft in parliament. The National Council of churches of Kenya challenged the president to walk the talk by having those he claims received bribes arrested and prosecuted. Speaking during a church service in Nairobi, NCCK Vice Chairman Bishop John Okinda opposed the formation of a multi-agency team to tackle corruption in the country, stating that the EACC should independently lead the war against graft, as enshrined in the constitution.
