    A church in Sok Village West Pokot County has disallowed its female members from attending their service during Menstruation. The New Jerusalem Church neither permits couples to engage in any sexual acts on the eve of their Saturday service. The church leaders say these acts are a form of uncleanliness hence unacceptable before God. At the Jerusalem Church in Sok Village West Pokot County... Nothing impure will ever enter the church, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful.
