A City lawyer Esther Bitutu Kadiki who has been arraigned in connection with the theft of 1.5 Billion shillings from Equity bank has been ordered to deposit thirty Million shillings in court to secure her freedom as investigations continue. The Directorate of Criminal Investigation Banking Fraud Unit has unearthed the suspect Bitutu is believed to have aided in siphoning the loot. Details of this in the Scales of Justice segment.
