Civil Society: Little to celebrate as katiba turns 15

As Kenya marks 15 years since the promulgation of the 2010 constitution, civil society groups have raised concerns over what they describe as persistent failures in its implementation. According to civil rights organizations, key provisions, particularly those relating to the bill of rights and governance, remain largely unfulfilled, with some sections having been significantly undermined. The groups argue that there is little cause for celebration, insisting that true constitutionalism remains elusive.
