Conflict-of-interest bill by Ichungw’wa due for the second reading

State and Public Officers who will leave office while under investigation for any misconduct will not be off the hook if the proposed conflict of interest bill is enacted into law. The bill proposes that investigations into misconduct continue even after one has left office. The bill also seeks to ensure that investigations and determination of conflict-of-interest cases be concluded within three months.
