Parents and guardians have today criticized the ministry of education for the impromptu postponement of schools’ reopening for the second term. Parents decried the timing of the notice that was dispatched at 1am on Monday. And as Laura Otieno reports, the ministry has issued an additional directive directing school heads to retain all learners who reported to school on Monday and for county directors to issue daily reports on the mitigation by the schools against flooding.
